Our commitments
As part of our strategy, we focus on five key areas in our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. These areas address the most important challenges for our company and our stakeholders. Every day, we work towards making progress in each of these areas.

Promoting Diversity & Inclusion

Mitigating Climate Change
We aim to reduce climate change which affects the whole of society, especially businesses, our ambition is to accelerate our contribution to the development of a carbon-neutral society, by reducing our environmental footprint and mobilising our entire ecosystem.

Developing a more circular economy
We adopt the principles of a circular economy into Legrand’s activities is at the heart of the Group’s sustainable development approach. This approach covers the entire life cycle of products, including criteria for durability, repairability, and recycling.

Being A Responsible Business
As a responsible business, we lead by example in how we treat everyone we work with, both inside and outside our company. Our ethics policy applies across the whole Group, guiding how we work. We also promote a respectful, inclusive workplace and expect our suppliers to uphold the same high standards.

Our 2025-2027 CSR Roadmap
Published in March 2025, the 2025-2027 CSR Roadmap is Legrand's sixth Roadmap. Structured around five areas, it specifies our targets and priorities between now and 2027. It embodies the Group's ambition on environmental, social, and societal issues and also testifies its desire to involve its customers, partners, and suppliers in its approach.

Net Zero By 2050
Building A Sustainable Tomorrow
To contribute to a more sustainable and resilient tomorrow, Legrand has committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. This goal has been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). It reflects our deep responsibility to reduce our environmental footprint across the entire value chain. Legrand has also established a series of concrete sustainability goals to be met by 2030 designed to drive immediate progress towards our goal.
